Ingredients:
Cooked rice - 2 cups
Asafoitida - 1 pinch
Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon
Black gram dal - 1 tea spoon
Green chillies - 2 nos finely chopped
Curry leaves - a few leaves
Salt to taste
Cooking oil - 1 tea spoon
1. Take the cooked rice in a bowl.
2. Heat oil in a kadai and add the mustard seeds and black gram dal.
3. Once mustard crackles and the dal turns golden brown add the chopped chillies.
4. Add them to the rice and also add salt and asafoitida.
5. Add curd also the the rice and mix well.
6. Curd rice ready. Serve with pickle and chutney.
